Dr. Kerwin Dunham is originally from the Des Moines area.  He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Northern Iowa where he earned a B.A. in Biomedical Biology and Professional Science Master's Degree in Biotechnology.  He was a student athlete at UNI with the men's basketball team. 

In 2016, he graduated from the William M. School College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Science and Medicine in Chicago with a doctorate in podiatric medicine.  

He completed a three year forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgical training at MercyOne Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa.  He is a Board Qualified surgeon of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.  He has extensive experience and training in wound care, diabetic foot care, sports medicine, foot and ankle fracture management, and all foot pathologies.  

Dr. Dunham recently celebrated his 8th anniversary with his wife, Kyra.  They are proud parents of 3 young children and active members of Story Hill Church in Lawrence.
